Step 7: Analysis of the I-search project process
From my personal perspective, this project has both advantage and disadvantage. This project helps
us to learn more about how to search a topic and have good answers. It was tough for me, I think,
because I always found same articles but on different websites, and a lot of articles have the same
ideas, they were useless. Also, I didn't know anything about my topic which is Sustainable Water
Delivery, to look for information is a good chance for us to choose what do we need, what is
important. However, I prefer to write thoughts and reflections more, this process takes a lot of time
and sometimes you don't have enough or useful information. Thoughts and reflections is more depend
on your personal opinion and is more suitable to me. When I write thoughts and reflections, I always
can find a bunch of information on the internet, I combine those ideas with my own views, and it
went really well and it's easier for me to understand the topic. However, they both have disadvantages
and advantages, the I-search project and thoughts and reflections both improved my English and
helped me grow as a student, because I learnt a lot of new things and it enriched my knowledge.

Step 6 - What I learned from this process
The last two weeks we were working on the Ancient Green Technology Project. This is a chance to
help us to learn about more ancient techniques which might can be used in modern times. During this
Isearch project, I learned more about my topic which is Sustainable Water Delivery. I was really
confused about this technology because I've never heard of it even though later I found out that we
use the water pressure system almost everyday. Basically, the water pressure system is something that
help you to get water without using electricity, the water would just flow out by the pressure. I did a
lot of research for this topic, I found a lot of same articles that are useless, but after all, I still learned
a lot of new knowledge. How I manage my time? We have in-class working day so during the class
periods I did some research and after I went back home I summary all the information and gathered
them together as my topic sources. I spent about 1 hour to work on this project during the weekends.
It was more helpful that we do it in class because if we have any confusing questions we could just
ask Ms.Mitchell. Overall, I did learn a lot of new things that I've never known before.

The Search:
In class on Friday, I started Step 4 which is the process that record how much you spent time on this
and keep notes about the articles. I spent about 10 minutes on Friday to search the articles and I found
many of them that have good information.
During the weekend at home we worked on this project as well, I started to do it on Sunday and I
spent about 25 minutes to gather all those information, some articles are hard for me to understand
thus I have to translate them into Chinese to help me understand more, and I worked on a little bit of
the powerpoint.
On December 15th. I found more articles in class. I didn't post two books because I couldn't find
books on the Amazon, so now I have 10 articles about this topic and today I am going to gather all
the information and finish my powerpoint, I am going to compare the water delivery system with
modern times as well to see how it benefits us today.

Step 2: What do I already know about this thesis?
Through the research, I have a brief knowing about the Ancient Water Pressure System.
Basically, it's a technology which you don't need any electricity to get water. It was an important
technology to the people which lived in the Maya of Palenque, the people would easy get water. The
